Guest Evening
6:30 pm on Thursday, 9th December 2004 Outline Agenda:
Whilst the brethren and their Masonic guests are in the meeting, non-Masonic guests will hear a presentation about Freemasonry, its origins and purposes, illustrated with some famous Masons and some examples of our charitable support. After the Lodge has closed, brethren will escort their guests into the lodge room to hear a talk by Polly Vacher, round-the-world aviatrix and fund-raiser for flying scholarships for the disabled. Please click on the image below to visit the Wings around the World web site.
The meeting is likely to be over by 8:30 after which a Festive Board featuring a traditional Christmas dinner will be held in the main hall. This is likely to conclude by 10:30. A raffle will also be held with proceeds going to Wings around the World. It would be most helpful if brethren who may wish to attend would kindly complete and return the booking form. A Summons will then be sent out in the usual manner nearer the date. You may also wish to use the form to indicate your inability to attend if you have received an invitation.
